Intro to M365

The Microsoft Office 365 (M365) project will introduce new cloud-based services and features for all team members. This means more flexibility when it comes to creating and sharing documents and information within Cooper, as well as more and better ways to collaborate with your team and other teams.

Outlook

Cooper’s current email platform, Microsoft Outlook, has been upgraded to a newer, cloud-based platform that provides easier mailbox management, increased mailbox size, and a more fluid transition between desktop and smart devices.

OneDrive

OneDrive will increase data accessibility and security, reduce the need for email attachments, and even allow team members to collaborate on documents in conjunction with the features of our new SharePoint tool.

OneDrive will replace your personal data storage and will back up your documents automatically. OneDrive also provides easier access to your documents when switching between devices within the network. Once your documents have synced with the cloud, you will be able to access them at any time directly from the cloud, without affecting your system’s internal storage space.

OneDrive rollout will begin after the Outlook upgrade has been completed.

SharePoint

SharePoint is a web-based collaboration tool currently used by Cooper. This tool provides all team members with access to unique sites for sharing documents, links, applications, and general information. Cooper is migrating from SharePoint 2007 to a more current, cloud-based version that will improve access to, organization of, and collaboration on information across the organization. It will also provide an improved intranet experience.

SharePoint pilot site owners are now working on building their sites.
